One (1) Part-time position
Works under supervision of Pharmacy Manager.
Assists in preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products to patient care areas.
Provides regular input into pharmacy computer system.
Reviews and records narcotics used on appropriate inventory sheets.
Maintains department perpetual narcotic inventory according to policy and procedure.
Transcribes physicians orders to pharmacy patient profiles.
Responsible for medication administration records, cart exchange and delivery of unit dose carts.
Responsible for ordering, receiving and checking purchased drugs.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must register with State Board.
Advanced computer skills required.
Prolonged walking, standing, lifting (up to 20#), and climbing of steps required.
One (1) year of experience required.
Pharmacy certification preferred.
All other duties/skills and qualifications will be discussed at time of interview.
