FULL-TIME OB/GYN PHYSICIAN

D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital (Brewton, Alabama) is seeking a compassionate and motivated full-time OB/GYN Physician to join our growing healthcare team. This physician will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to diagnose, treat, and manage patients’ healthcare needs.
The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and building lasting relationships with patients and families throughout our community. We are seeking a physician who is passionate about practicing obstetrics and gynecology in a rural setting and is committed to improving the health and well-being of women and families close to home!
Position Highlights:
• Full-time OB/GYN physician position
• Established clinic practice
• Office Hours: Monday through Thursday, 8 am until 5 pm and ½ day on Fridays (8 am until Noon)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to patients.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic healthcare conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Promote preventative care and patient education.
• Participate in shared call coverage on a 1-in-2 basis.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, professional standards, and applicable regulations.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as discussed at the time of interview.
Qualifications:
• Current MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Current Alabama medical license and DEA or eligible for licensure.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care in a rural setting.
