D.W. McMillan Partners with HHS

Brewton, AL - D. W. McMillan Memorial Hospital has partnered with HHS to manage and modernize the hospital's Dietary and Facility Services Departments, which includes housekeeping, laundry and maintenance services. The new partnership with HHS is set to begin on August 3, 2014.

Starting in August, D. W. McMillan will begin receiving new equipment, enhanced service programs, a cafeteria renovation and new management leadership through its partnership with HHS. The HHS service model offers solutions to improve hospital operations in the areas of efficiency and cost, with a primary focus on creating positive healthcare experience for the hospital's patients. HHS has a proven track record of improving patient satisfaction, through its hospitality programs which are aimed at positively impacting the patient's satisfaction with their hospital experience.

HHS has been providing support services programs exclusively to the healthcare industry for more than 39 years and currently serves more than 275 healthcare facilities across the nation. In 2010, HHS expanded their service offering to include culinary services, which is designed to provide locally-sourced high quality food service options to the patients and the community of its' hospital partners. HHS also recently received national recognition for it culinary services programs from Food Service Magazine.
