Nursing
Nursing care is provided in seven (7) areas of the hospital. There are three In-Patient Units (Medical Surgical, Intensive Care and Obstetrics), three Outpatient Units (Operating, Emergency and Outpatient Clinic), and Radiology.
he majority of licensed nursing staff at D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital are registered nurses.
The Radiology department has a full time RN who manages and assists with procedures.
Nursing Education
CEU opportunities are available at no cost for nursing employees.
All American Heart Certification Courses (ACLS, PALS and BLS) are taught three to four times each year for staff.
