RN or LPN - PRN
Includes Labor & Delivery and Nursery
One (1) PRN Position ON CALL
Work a shift/shifts during Monday through Friday
Duties/skills -
RN Will assist with laboring patients.
Will assist with C-sections.
Will care for newborns.
Will care for recovering post-op & post-delivery patients.
Will take call.
LPN: Will perform general nursing duties under supervision of RN.
Will function as LPN, providing Total Patient Care for adult and newborn.
Will perform patient assessment and will document in chart.
Will administer medications.
Qualifications:
 Current Alabama RN or LPN license required.
If LPN, must currently be in RN program.
Current CPR certification required.
NRP (must have within one year of hire)
Basic cardiac class (must have within one year of hire)
Must be willing to work flexible hours
Must live within 30 minutes of hospital
No experience required.
All other duties/skills and qualifications will be discussed at time of interview.
