Welcome to Brewton, Alabama With its great scenery and its advanced telecommunications infrastructures, Brewton is considered as one of the 100 best towns in America. It has been recognized in Norman Crampton's book "The 100 Best Small Towns in America" twice. Brewton is located in the extreme south just north of Florida's pan handle, approximately one hour north of the Gulf of Mexico, and about an hour and a half from the state capital, Montgomery. Because of it's location, Brewton offers its residents the best small town living with the ability to have a change of scenery without much of a travel. Though Brewton is not exactly the biggest city you may run across, it provides its residents with many of the conveniences of big city living.
