BREWTON, AL - The Brewton Medical Center and D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital have partnered with Bayside Orthopaedics to bring additional orthopaedic coverage to Brewton. Dr. Joey Carter and Dr. Jay Savage will be in clinic at the Brewton Medical Center every Monday beginning January 2015.

"Adding the orthopaedic services of doctors Carter and Savage allows more of our patients the convenience of seeing their specialists at home," said Tommy Shehan, administrator for the Brewton Medical Center. "We are excited about our partnership with Bayside Orthopaedics."

Dr. Joey Carter is a graduate of the University Of Mississippi School Of Medicine, where he also completed his residency. Dr. Carter also has affiliations with Thomas Hospital, South Baldwin Regional Medical Center and Evergreen Medical Center. He has been practicing since 2000.

Dr. Jay Savage is a graduate of The University of Alabama at Birmingham. He completed his residency in 2012 at UAB as well. Dr. Savage has affiliations with Thomas Hospital and South Baldwin Regional Medical Center.
