Hospital Chapel

D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital offers an on-site chapel that is open 24 hours a day. It is located on the first floor beside the gift shop.

The chapel is open to all and may be a private place for families who may want to gather for prayer, or a place where the family experiencing a loss and needs to be alone may be with their own minister for prayer and counsel.

The Hospital also offers emotional and spiritual support to patients and patient's families through the hospital chaplain services. The chaplain visits or counseling is provided by chaplain associates who are volunteer pastors who routinely visit the hospital. Patients needing help should ask their nurse for a visit. Our nurses are able to contact one of our chaplains with a specific request.

Prayer cards are also available to be filled out and left for the chaplain.
